Screening Tests may be VDRL or RPR

QC records include room temperature, rotator speed, needle drops, water bath temperature (where appropriate) and control serum results.

"Make all Negative" button is available which will change all tests not previously entered to "negative". Tests with any other result will not be changed.

"Titer buttons" are used to enter results as #RWN or Titer (to 8RWN or 1:2046)

Confirmatory

Up to 4 Confirmatory test may be attached to a single specimen.
Worksheets are printed for each test with custom QC for the type of test.

Confimatory tests may be run in house or by a reference laboratory.

Tests may be FTA-ABS, Serodia-TP-PA,MHA-TP, Darkfield or FADF.

• It's been our experience that if you can't get a final result after four different tests, it's either time to draw another sample or you've run out of specimen to test.

Each run contains the name of the person testing, Date tested, reagent QC and test parameters (Temperature, testing controls,equipment QC)

Final print lists (optional) print reports with all entered QC added

Final lab slips print the screening result and all confirmatory tests run. A "final" result is not determined since it is up to the clinician to determine the client status based on screening and confirmatory test(s) results.
